Central Penn CDL Academy offers a variety of programs designed to help individuals earn their Class A Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDL). This program is available both full-time and part-time, with evening and weekend options for students who need more flexibility to accommodate work and family responsibilities. The part-time programs feature customized scheduling to meet each student’s individual needs.
Every program at Central Penn CDL Academy is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue successful careers in the commercial driving industry while maintaining a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.
Class A CDL Program
160 hours of combined classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel (BTW) training. This course covers essential topics such as pre-trip inspections, driving maneuvers, and road safety. Students will gain practical experience to become competent, professional truck drivers.
The same comprehensive instruction and training as the full-time course, with the added flexibility of evening and weekend classes.

Don’t worry. We will walk you through each step of the process. We incorporated permit preparation into our curriculum so you will not have to navigate it alone.
A DOT Physical, and DOT Drug test are included in the tuition. During your onboarding, we will also get you enrolled in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and walk you through the online ELDT theory modules.
